Let's clean up Europe!

Every year, millions of tons of garbage end up in the ocean, beaches, forests, and other places in nature.

That's why between May 8th and 10th, we celebrated Europe Cleanup Day at the "Let's Clean Europe" event. This annual event aims to raise public awareness of littering issues and their causes (such as poor waste management and unsustainable consumption patterns).

The event was held simultaneously throughout the European Union and five non-EU European countries. Year after year, "Let's clean up Europe!" try to combat littering and raise awareness of the root cause of the problem and how it affects the ecosystem. Let's clean up Europe coordinated by European Waste Reduction Week. Here you can find more information about the campaign, the local organizations involved and the actions taken.
