Haul of Fame: Team Waste

The road to fame: Team Waste

Welcome to "Celebrity Journey", this is Rubicon's weekly series. We sat down with a porter partner to talk about their company, their community, and how they can work with Rubicon to accomplish our mission of ending waste.

Team Waste is an independent transportation company that provides construction, industrial and commercial roll-off services and commercial front-end loading services in the Greater Memphis and South Central regions and DeSoto and Marshall Counties of Mississippi. Headquartered in Byhalia, Mississippi, Team Waste has 65 employees and manages the entire fleet of 30 sanitation trucks. Team Waste is a family business founded by Wally Carter, the second-generation porter owner and founder, and has been working with Rubicon since 2015.

Team Waste vice president Chris Carter sat down with Rubicon to talk about the company and Haul of Fame's mission.

How does Rubicon's mission to end waste match with Team Waste's own company mission?

Team Waste: Team Waste has always been committed to being a strong environmental steward. As an independent, family-controlled company, we are part of the communities we serve. A firm commitment to sustainable development is very important in Team Waste. We are constantly seeking new ways to reduce our environmental footprint through innovation and our technology and industry partnerships.

How does Team Waste stand out from the competition?

Team waste: Team waste is first established on the following belief: Excellent customer service is the lifeblood of our business, and it is every employee's job to ensure that our customers receive continuous response and reliable care. Secondly, Team Waste focuses on strong local partnerships, which our employees and customers we serve in the central and southern regions can develop. Whether our customers are municipalities, industrial, commercial enterprises, construction and demolition companies, or individual homeowners, we look forward to establishing and establishing relationships with them by providing quality services at reasonable prices.

What is Team Waste's view on participating in the circular economy and helping to build a more sustainable future?

Team waste: Our company aims to provide a more sustainable future for our communities by providing households and businesses with recycling and waste reduction solutions; adopting disposal facilities with the most advanced engineering and construction technologies designed to protect the environment; low usage Cleaner trucks and equipment with sulfur fuels and more efficient oils; safer and more responsible maintenance practices; and give back to the communities we serve through environmental education and outreach.

What do you like most about the community where you work and the customers you serve?

Team Waste: We like to be the only local porter that provides all major garbage collection services in Central and South China, and provide the best service to our community at a reasonable price every day.

Five years later, how will Team Waste see itself?

Team Waste: The answer is simple-the largest porter in the central and southern regions!
